Why Custom Silicon?

Most car audio manufacturers rely on off-the-shelf, general-purpose DSP chips. While functional, they often introduce a specific digital signature—a coldness or glare. Goldhorn chose a harder path: designing our own audio stream processing architecture from the ground up to solve the specific challenges of the automotive environment.
