Privacy-sensitive data, or personal data, is processed via our webshop. Leupen Group B.V. considers careful handling of personal data of great importance. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us.
In our processing, we adhere to the requirements of privacy legislation. This means, among other things, that:

- we explicitly ask for your permission to process your personal data in cases where your permission is required;

Leupen Group B.V. is responsible for data processing. In this privacy statement, we explain which personal data we collect and use and for what purpose. We recommend that you read this carefully.
Use of Personal Data
When using our webshop, we obtain certain data from you. This may be personal data. We only store and use the personal data that is provided directly by you, in the context of the service you requested, or of which it is clear upon provision that it is provided to us for processing.
We use the following data for the purposes mentioned in this privacy statement:
- Name and address details incl. first name
- Phone number
- Billing address
- Email address
Registration
For certain parts of our webshop, you must first register. After registration, we store the personal data you provided via the username you chose. We store this data so that you do not have to fill it in every time and so that we can contact you in the context of the execution of the agreement.
Portal Access
With our portal, you can access a management environment where you can set, specify, change, or delete data yourself.
Order Processing
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to process it. If necessary for proper processing, we may also provide your personal data to third parties. You can read more about this later in this privacy statement.
Contact Form and Newsletter
We offer the possibility via our webshop to ask questions via a contact form where you are asked to fill in various details to handle your question. You choose which data you provide. The data you send us will be kept for as long as the nature of the form or the content of your email requires for the complete answering and processing thereof and at least as long as legally required.
We offer a newsletter with which we want to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Each newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe. Your email address is only added to the list of subscribers with your explicit permission. You can also indicate at any time via our portal by logging in whether you wish to receive a newsletter or not.
Publication
We do not publish your customer data.
Advertisements
Our webshop displays generic advertisements, where no personal data is collected.
Provision to Third Parties
Your data may be provided to third parties if this is necessary for the proper execution of the agreement you conclude with us, by explicit order from you as the data subject, on the basis of a legal obligation or by order of a judicial or administrative authority. If your personal data is shared with a third party, we ensure that we have concluded a processing agreement with this third party that meets the requirements of the relevant laws and regulations, including the GDPR.
Some third parties with whom data may be exchanged have stored part of their data outside the EU.
Cookies
Cookies are used on our webshop. Cookies may also be placed via third parties engaged by us.
When you visit our webshop for the first time, a notice is shown in which we explain why we use cookies. You can indicate here whether you accept or refuse these cookies.
You are free to disable cookies via your browser. Keep in mind that by not accepting our cookies, our website may no longer work optimally.
We have made agreements with third parties who place cookies about the use of the cookies and applications. Remarketing
We use Google Ads Remarketing to advertise on the internet, specifically in the Google Display Network. Ads remarketing displays advertisements based on which parts of the website you have viewed by placing a cookie in your web browser. This cookie does not identify you in any way and does not give access to your computer or mobile device. The cookie is used to indicate to Leupen Group B.V. that 'this person has visited a certain page, so show them advertisements related to that page'.
With Google Ads Remarketing, we can tailor our marketing to your needs and only display advertisements that are relevant to you.
If you do not want to see advertisements from Leupen Group B.V., you can opt out in various ways:
- Opt out of the use of cookies by Google by going to Google's ad settings.
- Opt out of the use of cookies by going to the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to keep track of how visitors use our webshop. We have concluded a processor agreement with Google to make agreements about the handling of our data. Furthermore, we have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services.
Security
We take security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data. In particular, we take the following measures:
- Access to personal data is shielded with a username and password
- We use secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) that shield all information between you and our website when you enter personal data.
Retention Periods
The personal data described above strictly will be kept for as long as necessary to process your orders, including warranty and service. After that, we keep data for a maximum of 2 years for the described statistical purposes. The data is then deleted, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer retention (such as the seven-year fiscal retention obligation for financial administration incl. relevant correspondence etc.).
Third-Party Websites
This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites that are connected to our webshop by means of links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We recommend that you read the privacy statement of these websites before using these websites.
Changes to this Privacy Statement
We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. It is recommended that you consult this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of these changes.
Access and Modification of your Data
For questions about our privacy policy or questions regarding access and changes to (or deletion of) your personal data, you can contact us at any time via the details below.
You can also send us a request to view, change, or delete this data. You can also submit a request to request a data export for data that we use with your permission, or indicate with reasons that you want us to limit the processing of personal data.
To prevent abuse, we may ask you to identify yourself adequately. When it comes to access to personal data linked to a cookie, you must send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find this in the settings of your browser. If the data is incorrect, you can request us to change the data or have it deleted.
Dutch Data Protection Authority
Of course, we are happy to help you if you have complaints about the processing of your personal data. Under privacy legislation, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority against these processing of personal data.
